Any head chef is only ever as good as the ingredients with which he works. That’s why, at the Rowton Hall Hotel restaurant, a key member of the team is our gardener, Daniel Webster.
Our Head Chef works with Danny to plan daily and seasonal menus that take advantage of the freshest ingredients growing just outside the kitchen window. So when Head Chef ready to cook with it, Danny is ready to pick it.

You’ll find many of Rowton Hall’s most inviting sofas and armchairs in The Cavalier Bar and Lounge. Sink into one and relax with a morning coffee, light lunch or traditional afternoon tea.
During the late autumn and winter nights the open fire fills the bar with the warm crackle of burning logs. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a vintage malt, port or brandy, or any of a wide range of liqueurs.
