You might be upset that your invitation to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day still hasn’t arrived in the post, but don’t despair. You can still get the royal treatment.
Whether or not it’s a weekend for a fancy wedding, there’s always an opportunity to indulge your inner prince or princess at Rowton Hall Hotel.
Indeed, why not celebrate in style?
If you’re a guest with us during this weekend, here is the itinerary you can choose to follow if you want to add some aristocratic flair to your own day. You will have a much more relaxing time than the wedding guests if you follow these suggestions.
The night before
As Meghan checks into her accommodation to get some beauty sleep, you too spirit yourself away from the hubbub of city life.
Enjoy a drink in the Cavalier Lounge and settle into one of our luxurious rooms. Have a dip in our 12m indoor heated pool or enjoy the late evening sun as it sets over our luscious grounds.
At 9am, the royal wedding guests will be arriving at St George’s Chapel
Meanwhile you will be tucking into a breakfast buffet fit for a queen in our Langdale Restaurant where our food is freshly prepared and our menu is exclusively designed by our head chef according to what’s in season using ingredients from our very own kitchen garden.
As the mid-morning lull descends over the guests and they anticipate the arrival of the bride, you can get active and work off that breakfast in our Health Club or book in for a comforting day of treatments. Our individual packages include back massage, stone massage, facials, body wraps and more. Men, don’t feel left out, we have a range of treatments just for you too!
As the wedding gets going
Fully pampered, treat yourself to some fizz to toast the newly-weds. For that quintessentially British feel, order an afternoon tea of scones, sandwiches and a selection of delectable cakes.
While the royals celebrate away from the public gaze…
Why not get ready for an evening party of your own? What better way to feel part of the elite than to get your nails perfectly primed with a manicure and pedicure.
And then it’s up to you…
In the evening, you get to choose to eat in with us or see what Chester city has to offer. Enjoy a wander along the barge-lined canal, stopping off at the city’s picturesque bars. If theatre is more to your taste, head over to Storyhouse to take in a performance of Sondheim’s A Little Night Music.
